Registered Guest Program

Obtaining Registered Guest passes

Registered Guest passes will be made available only to those pre-authorized by a University department.  These passes can be booked by the department by completing and submitting the online form or by e-mailing Parking Services.  The maximum allowed for one department for one day is 10 passes.  The department has the choice of providing a Banner org number and paying for the pass ($2.00 per day per pass) or having the guest pay for the pass at the entry booth ($3.00 per day per pass).  24 hour minimum notice is required.  Requests made less than 24 hours will require the pass to be available in the Parking office or the St. Johns Bluff booth.

Where the Registered Guest can park

A Registered Guest pass allows for parking in the “Registered Guest/Vendor” section of Lot 7 (not other spots in Lot 7), on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the garages and in many surface lots, but not in orange-lined “Designated” spaces, spaces marked “Reserved” or "Restricted," or in Lots 10, 11, 12, 15, 16 and 17.  Lots 10, 11, 12, 15 and 17 are for Housing Permits only.

Displaying the Registered Guest pass

The Registered Guest pass must be displayed on the vehicle’s dash so that the permit number is visible and facing outward while the vehicle is parked on campus.

Strict enforcement of spaces in Lot 7

It is imperative that departments register their guests using the online form or by e-mailing Parking Services and that a valid pass is appropriately displayed in order for guests to legitimately park in the "Registered Guest/Vendor” section of Lot 7.

The $3.00 Daily Permits purchased at the booths do not provide for parking in Lot 7.

Vehicles not displaying an acceptable permit or pass will be cited and immobilized (booted) immediately.  No warnings will be given.  If payments required to remove the boot are not received by the end of the day, the vehicle will be towed early the next day.
