2008-2009 Permits & Rates

Please note: not all permits are available to everyone. Reserved and Designated are for faculty and staff only. Garage 1st Floor Permits are available to students on a space-available basis only. Housing Permits are for residential students only.

Annual Permits

As authorized by regulation 9.0030R I (1), the University's Board of Trustees has designated the annual registration fee for each motor vehicle as follows:

Fees for parking per term are as follows (Reserved, Designated, Garage 1st Floor and Motorcycle Permits are not available on a per-term basis):

Parking locations allowed with parking permits:

Category	Can park in	Description
Reserved	Reserved, all floors in the garages, any surface lot except Designated spaces and Lot 7	Reserved spaces are both covered and exterior and specifically identified as Reserved for a specific individual or position.
Designated	Designated, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the garages, Discount and Premium lots. Not non-Designated spots in Lot 7 or Housing Lots 10, 11, 12, 15 and 17	Designated spaces are all exterior surface spaces within UNF Drive identified by orange lines and with wheel stops noting “Designated."
Garage 1st Floor	All floors in the garages, Discount and Premium lots. Not Designated, Reserved and Restricted, Lot 7 or Housing Lots 10, 11, 12, 15 and 17	1st floor garage spaces are covered and on the ground level of the two garages on UNF Drive.
Premium	2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the garages and surface lots except Designated, Reserved and Restricted spots, Lot 7 or Housing Lots 10, 11, 12, 15 and 17	Premium spaces are covered on the 2nd and 3rd floor of garages including all ramps; the 4th floor garage and surface lot spaces are exterior.
Lots 18 and 53 only For first-time-in-college commuters and Housing students unable to buy a Housing Permit	Lots 18 and 53 only	Discount A lots are surface Lot 18 off Central Parkway and the Lot 53 near UNF Hall east of Kernan Boulevard.
Lots 14, 18 and 53 only	Lots 14, 18 and 53 only	Discount B lots are surface Lot 18 off Central Parkway, Lot 14 near the UNF Police Building and the Lot 53 east of Kernan Boulevard.
Housing A Osprey Hall. Osprey Landing, Osprey Cove, Osprey Village	Lots 10, 11, 12, 18 and 53 only	Housing A spaces are all exterior spaces in lots adjacent to "Osprey" housing, Lot 18 off Central Parkway and Lot 53 east of Kernan Boulevard.
Housing B Crossings	Lots 15, 17, 18 and 53 only	Housing B spaces are all exterior spaces in lots adjacent to The Crossings, Lot 18 off Central Parkway and Lot 53 near UNF Hall east of Kernan Boulevard.
Motorcycle	Motorcycle spaces	Covered and exterior, interspersed in garages and lots around campus.

Vendor Permits

Vendors may park in Premium Permit spots plus Vendor-designated spots in Lots 7 and 9.

Purchase of a permit does not guarantee the holder a space within the noted description area but, as noted, the permit does allow for parking in other areas.
